Definition and function of cookies
What are cookies technically?
Cookies are small text files composed of strings of letters and numbers that websites visited by the user send to their terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored to be retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit. Thanks to cookies, the platform can "remember" the user's actions and preferences (such as login data, chosen language, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they do not have to be indicated again when the user revisits said site or navigates from one page to another of it.
Why do we use these technologies?
The use of cookies on this platform has multiple purposes. Firstly, they are essential to allow the user to navigate the site and use its functions, such as accessing protected areas. Secondly, they help us monitor site performance, identify any technical errors, and understand how visitors interact with our pages. Finally, they allow us to offer content that is as aligned as possible with the interests shown by the user during previous sessions.
